267 West Center Street · Marion, Ohio
Marion's most storied address, fully restored for those who appreciate the genuine article.
When Warren Harding won the presidency from his Marion front porch in 1920, the town decided to do something about it. They raised $900,000—every dollar locally—and built a hotel. It opened in 1924, six months after Harding's death. Today the building is home to 66 apartments, a ballroom, and a Tennessee marble lobby that's exactly as it was. On the National Register since 1980.
Eleven distinct floor plans across eight floors. Each residence is unique—a function of the building's original 146-room hotel layout, now thoughtfully converted into 66 homes with all utilities, cable, and high-speed internet included.
The Harding Centre offers premium commercial office and meeting space in the heart of downtown Marion—a century-old building that lends instant credibility to any enterprise. Flexible lease terms, furnished options, and conference room access make it ideal for businesses of every size.
The Harding Centre offers two distinct gathering spaces—the restored 1924 ballroom, with ornamental plaster ceilings and polished terrazzo floors, and the Presidential Suites: private meeting rooms and flexible co-working space on the upper floors. Both carry a century of character that no modern venue can replicate.
"Marion's citizens raised every dollar of the $900,000 it cost to build. The Hotel Harding was their gift—to a president, to each other, and to the generations who would live and work within its walls."
